I was pleasantly surprised on how nice this place was. The inside was clean and had lots of character. It even had a fireplace! We sat outside because the weather was nice. Service was great. They even had vegetarian options! Food was very good and had large portions. I will definitely come back again.
We had never been inside of the steel city pizza restaurant. We've ordered their pizza and it's always good but this time we decided to go inside and was pleasantly surprised. There was a lot of space inside and a pretty decent outside seating area with a greenbelt view. We went in just after lunch so it was quiet and very comfortable sitting outside. The server greeted us when we came in and continue to support us while we were there. He did a very good job. We were very surprised by how many options were on the menu as we thought it was mainly pizza. They had sandwiches, salads and lots of appetizers. We will definitely be going back.
Service was great! Micheal was patient and attentive. My slices lacked uniformity regarding toppings. You be the judge. Tasted good to though.
Ordered online while working from home. Slice of Mighty Meaty and 6pc honey mustard wings. Pizza is always good. The wings could've used seasoning on the actual wings before being cooked. The sauce was fine, and the wings were a good size, but in general the wings needed more flavor.
We stopped in for lunch. We got a 12" Steel City Special Pie. It had homemade red sauce, mozz-provolone blend, old world pepperoni, fresh mushroom, red onion, green pepper, black olives & Italian sausage. It was good and had great flavor. Our waitress was very friendly. It didn't take very long to get our meal. Definitely recommend the Steel City Special Pie! Restaurant seemed cleaned.
